Did You Know?
"Daylight Adjusting Time"

What do Daylight Savings Time and a Chiropractic Adjustment have in common?
Both give you more LIGHT!

The primary purpose of Chiropractic is to locate and correct Subluxations. If you break down the word you get:
SUB=less, LUX=light,
ATION=a condition

Subluxation literally means a state of less "light" or energy caused when misaligned spinal bones (especially the Atlas and Axis) restrict the flow of impulses through the nerve system. A Chiropractic Adjustment corrects this misalignment, eases pressure off nerves and extends the time Life energy streams through you-giving you more daylight to
heal yourself.

When you receive an adjustment from you Chiropractor, be confident your innate healing "light" is shining brighter and longer with every session. Life springs forward when you're under regular Chiropractic care.

A Beautiful Chiropractic Office For All Your
Wellness Needs

Facility
We are proud to provide a state-of-the-art facility for the highest quality chiropractic care available. It is one of our top priorities to protect the well-being of our valued patients. We are confident that you will feel right at home in our office as we welcome all patients as if they were family.
Why should I see a Chiropractor? Seeing a chiropractor is not only for back pain and neck pain. Chiropractic care is an excellent way to keep your body at its peak performance through nutrition, adjustment and overall wellness. In addition, chiropractic care has been known to help  a wide range of conditions from fibromyalgia to diabetes.
Is chiropractic effective?  Chiropractic helps to remove postural imbalances and structural misalignments that can accumulate in our bodies over time. Chiropractic works by restoring your own inborn ability to be healthy. For your body to remain healthy, your nervous system must function well. For your nervous system to function well, it must be free of interference. By restoring spinal function with Chiropractic adjustments, nerve interference by misaligned vertebrae is removed, thus allowing optimal nervous system function and improved health.
How does chiropractic care work?  Chiropractic is an overall way of looking at the human body. It's based on the idea that the body is self-sustaining and self-healing. The body is in essence completely controlled by the brain through its connection via the spinal cord and the vast networks of nerves that make up the body. When this system is not functioning at its peak, the overall performance of the human body is lacking. In the chiropractic world, drugs and medicine are not utilized as a form of treating a patient. While supplementation and nutrition are almost always a part of the bigger picture, drugs and prescriptions can be viewed as band-aids to treat symptoms rather than going to the source and treating the real problem.  While it's often perceived that the chiropractor is solely here to treat back and neck pain, this is simply a small piece of what the profession really is capable of handling. Chiropractors not only treat soft and hard tissue problems such as sciatica and joint pain, but are largely called on to deal with more significant issues. Some of these issues include fibromyalgia, allergies, insomnia, headaches and many more.

Dr. Matt Michaud was born and raised in Western New York. He received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2003 from the prestigious Palmer College of Chiropractic.

Dr. Matt was first introduced to Chiropractic nearly 20 years ago. While working out he injured his back and began to experience difficulty breathing and moving. After seeing a friend's uncle, who was a Chiropractor, he not only recovered from his workout injury quickly, but the chiropractic adjustments allowed his body to adapt to allergic responses, to hay fever and pollen. That was the last time he has had medication in his body.

The positive experience of chiropractic care inspired and influenced Dr. Matt to become a Chiropractor himself. One of Dr. Matt's favorite aspects of his career is being able to watch his patients, who have had their pain written off as hopeless by other medical professionals, regain their health, strength and essentially their lives.

Dr. Matt looks forward to helping as many families as possible and truly making a difference within his community.

Magnolia Plantation's
Fall Flowers
Take a Colorful Walk with Magnolia's Camellia Expert

Day Dream, White Doves and Sparkling Burgundy are some of the early camellia varieties that brighten walks along the garden paths at Magnolia Plantation and Gardens.
   Follow Magnolia's camellia expert Tom Johnson on daily 45-minute walks at 11 a.m. Monday through Saturday and 1:30 p.m. on Sundays. The walks, limited to groups of up to 25 people, are an added feature to Magnolia's daily schedule until mid-March. Reservations are required. Call the ticket booth in advance to reserve a time. The walks will begin Thursday, November 1st.
   Magnolia's ancient camellias, first imported by the Rev. John Grimké Drayton in the 1840s from France and Belgium, are producing a colorful display of pinks, purples, reds and white.
  The gardens have been expanded since Johnson led his first camellia walk five years ago. Since then, Johnson has led a restoration of America's oldest public garden. During the walks, Johnson will discuss the expansion of the gardens and future plans to return more pre-1900 camellia varieties to Magnolia.
  As the winter turns colder, the Duke of Wellington, General Washington and Julia Drayton are among the other varieties that will make a showing throughout the garden.

Dunes Insurance
When we opened our insurance company, we wanted to reintroduce the "customer first" concept. While it is important to save customers money, it is equally important to make customers feel comfortable during the decision process, as well as the claims process. We only represent A-rated companies and approach the quoting process a little differently than other agencies. A quote for a customer should not take days or weeks; we call customers back the same day and in most cases within the hour. Give us a call today and see how easy insurance can be.

About the owners:
The company is owned by Matthew "Matt" Turbeville and Douglas "Trey" McMillan. Both owners grew up in South Carolina and have always called the state home. Both decided on in-state colleges to pursue their college degrees. Matt graduated from Wofford College, located in Spartanburg, and Trey graduated from Charleston's own, The Citadel.

Answering these questions will dramatically improve your advertising in 2013! These tips will make demands upon your advertising that are very different from traditional advertising. If your current advertising doesn't provide compelling answers, Donna will provide ways to  think about how you could change it so that it does.

Combining years of marketing and sales experience with a love for design, Donna started Charleston Webweaver in 2007. Her focus then, as now, was on small businesses, new entrepreneurs and non-profit agencies with small budgets and large needs for e-commerce solutions.

Her clients have the desire to expand and enhance their businesses by going on-line, but lack the resources of larger competitors. By bringing together a talented team and understanding the special issues facing small businesses, Charleston Webweaver is a one-stop shop for e-commerce solutions.

From planning the initial project to the finished product, Donna and her team will help create a website that works for you!
