Homegrown Holiday Bazaar Encourages You to Shop Local this Holiday Season

JOHNS ISLAND, SC - The third annual Homegrown Holiday Bazaar will be held Saturday, December 3, 2016 from 10:00am-4:00pm at 3546 Maybank Highway (site of the Johns Island Farmers Market ). The event will serve as the farmers market that day and is brought to you by Homegrown Johns Island Farmers Market and Sea Islands Chamber of Commerce.

There will be a lot more local vendors than usual, just in time to get your holiday shopping done in support of your community. Be sure to bid on the many silent auction items to support the operations of both organizations. The holiday hayride, pony rides, and Santa Claus visits in Santa Land are sure to bring holiday cheer to all who visit! Local food trucks will be on site along with warm drinks, local craft beer, and wine. Classic Dickens Carolers (11:30am-1pm), The V-Tones of Charleston and members of Sol Driven Train will be providing musical performances during the Homegrown Holiday Bazaar. There will be tons of fun activities for all ages including several seasonal-themed games, crafts, cookie decorating, ornament making and bounce houses! The Homegrown Holiday Bazaar is your one-stop shop for all things LOCAL & FESTIVE!

There are a few vendor booths and sponsorships available. Admission is free and there is plenty of free parking on site and across the street. This event would not be possible without the support of local businesses such as BNC Bank, Charleston Collegiate School, Johns Island Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Kiawah Cares, Respite Care Charleston, Riverbank Veterinary Clinic, and The Apartments at Shade Tree.
